HAZL (hazl.ca) is run by HAZL Group Inc. in Calgary, Alberta. This page explains what we collect when you use HAZL, why, and what you can ask of us. Write to services@hazl.ca with any question or request.

What we collect

Why we use it

To run HAZL: to sign you in, build and host your apps, charge credits, send you sign-in codes, receipts and notices, answer you, and keep the service secure and free of abuse. When you sign up, we also add your email address to HAZL’s newsletter, which tells you about new features and services; every newsletter has a link to unsubscribe. We don’t sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Who helps us run HAZL

We use service providers for hosting and file storage, our database and sign-in, the AI models that read your requests and code to build your apps, the workspaces where apps are built, email, and card payments (Stripe). If you connect GitHub, your code goes to the repository you choose. Providers use your information only to deliver their part of the service.

Some providers are outside Canada, mainly in the United States, so your information may be stored there and be subject to those countries’ laws. Our privacy officer can answer questions about this, and tell you which providers we use, at services@hazl.ca.

How long we keep it

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have your account and its data deleted. Email services@hazl.ca. You can stop the newsletter at any time with the unsubscribe link in any issue; account emails such as sign-in codes and receipts still arrive.

Changes

When this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its date.
